Located in the iconic Triveni, an institution equally well known for its patronage of the arts as well as for its iconic ‘canteen’, the Triveni Terrace Cafe was taken over by the Melting Pot Food Company in an attempt to restore it to the promise it has always made – canteen food that you can eat every day. Apart from preserving the ‘heritage’ of its famous shammi kebabs, keema matar and veg sandwich, several new dishes have been added to satisfy our regular customers. Perched on a little terrace, overlooking the charming Triveni amphitheatre in an oasis of green, the Café is a hangout for an motley collection of lawyers, politicians, artistes and just the ‘Bengali Market’ types.
